Inside Mind Welcome to Scunthorpe & District Mind. We are an independent local organization dedicated to providing supportive and informative services to anyone in the community affected by mental health problems. We run alongside many other local Mental Health organizations and can offer sign posting between these and many other useful services depending on your individual needs.
On this website you should find all the information you need to access support and guidance through us and other local organizations, get involved with us and our activities, and find out more about mental health and the way it affects our community. We aim to provide quality services to meet the needs of our service users and other stakeholders by working towards continually improving our practice. A key part of this is our commitment to Quality Management in Mind which gives us the opportunity to recognize our achievement and also to identify how we can improve the quality of our services to benefit our service users.

Our mission is to empower people to make positive choices, achieve their aspirations and take control over their own wellbeing by providing quality services to meet the needs of our community.

Our Aims & Objectives

To promote a positive image of mental health through challenging stigma, discrimination and inequality.
To provide a range of socially inclusive services to meet the needs of our service users.
To support our service users to have a voice and to ensure that their views are valued and respected. To campaign on mental health issues Our evaluations will show a positive change in attitudes to mental health & in how we treat each other.
To consult with our service users to find out what will best meet their needs and to provide a range of services to meet those needs.
Our service users will have the personal resources to have a voice or will be able to access the appropriate support to do so.
To play an active role in the local community, raising the profile of Mind and raising awareness of mental health issues.
